Framed image 2 - Nature conservation art project - Orchids - Hybrids (85 x 100 cm)

Framed image 2 focuses on orchid hybrids found in the Danube-Auen National Park. It is one of three framed images in the nature conservation art project "The Orchids of the Danube-Auen National Park," which comprises a total of 26 painted orchid images and on which I worked from autumn 2020 to autumn 2023.

The size of the painting makes it ideal as a main picture in a medium-sized room, office, waiting room, etc., which will make it cheerful and elegant and liven it up.

The artwork measures 85 cm in height (length) and 100 cm in width. The sealed acrylic painting is mounted on a individually tailored, in available in art supply stores Stretched on a stretcher frame (approximately 1.8 cm thick).

I am increasingly using more environmentally friendly paints and materials.

I frame, prime, and undercoat many of my works myself, including this one. I skip the intermediate step of sanding the canvases, which means the painting is virtually impossible to forge, as the tiny, subtle ridges of the canvas's texture cannot be replicated. For me, these ridges represent an artistic fingerprint! In everyday viewing of the painting, these small bumps are not noticeable.
