Refund policy
European Union – 14-day cancellation period
We offer a 14-day return policy for original paintings and artwork, as well as origami greeting cards and exhibition catalogs. This means you have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. This does not apply to custom-made or personalized items that are specially created after you place your order, or sale items.
To initiate a return of these eligible products, the item must be in the same condition as received—undamaged, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or other proof of purchase.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and vary depending on the size and type of product as well as the return location or country.
Original works of art of all kinds may only be returned via insured shipping and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs range from €50 to €350, depending on the location of the return and the size of the original works. Contact us in advance before returning original works of art. Should an original work be damaged or lost during return due to incorrect packaging or improper shipping, the customer/buyer is fully liable for the total value of the original price. To avoid conflicts in this regard, only insured shipping is permitted. This shipping covers the value of the original work being shipped, is marked as appropriately sensitive (fragile), and is in its original packaging. After contacting us, we can also recommend the most cost-effective and suitable shipping provider for your return.
If your return is accepted, you can arrange a return shipment at your own expense using a shipping provider of your choice or the most cost-effective shipping provider recommended in each case, which offers the most suitable liability and insurance coverage. Please note that tracking must be provided for this return, as well as notification of insured shipping for original works. Provide us with this tracking number so we can monitor the return shipment. We will provide information on how and where to send the package. NOTE: Items returned to us without a prior request for a return will not be accepted.

Damage and problems
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain items cannot be returned, such as prints, postcards, and other printed items (T-shirts, tote bags, etc.) that are custom-made for the customer and printed and produced after the order is placed. Therefore, please carefully consider whether the size of the T-shirt you ordered fits, and if in doubt, measure the specified dimensions. These are considered custom-made items (e.g., special orders or personalized items). Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about a specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.
Exchange
Returning the item you received is the fastest way to get the item you want. If the return is accepted, you can purchase the new item separately. Please contact us so we can discuss your specific needs and determine if an exchange is possible.
Refunds
We'll notify you once we receive and inspect your return and let you know whether or not your refund has been approved. If approved, you'll receive an automatic refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
